A free browser extension. When you visit a vendor site, GitHub repo, or npm package for an AI agent we've reviewed, a small overlay surfaces the Hlido score and a link to the full review. Install once, see independent verification anywhere on the web.

Silent on no-match

The overlay only appears on agents Hlido has reviewed. Other pages stay clean.

Tier colour-coded

VITAL (green), STEADY (blue), FADING (orange), FLATLINE (red). Same scoring as hlido.eu.

Privacy-first

No analytics, no tracking. Reads the URL only — never the page content.

Toolbar search

Click the icon to search 340+ reviewed agents and jump to any review.

Install (sideload)

Chrome Web Store, Firefox AMO, and Edge Add-ons listings are on the way. For now, the extension installs as an unpacked directory — takes about 30 seconds.

Chrome / Edge / Brave / Arc

  1. Open chrome://extensions/ (or edge://extensions/).
  2. Toggle Developer mode on.
  3. Click Load unpacked.
  4. Select the extension/ directory.

Firefox

  1. Open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.
  2. Click Load Temporary Add-on.
  3. Select extension/manifest.json.

Temporary add-ons unload on browser restart. A signed .xpi for permanent install is on the roadmap.

Heads up: the Chrome Web Store listing is planned. We'll publish to the store once the extension passes the Chrome Web Store's MV3 review checklist (icons, screenshots, privacy disclosure). Sideload works on every Chromium-based browser today.

What it accesses

  • Storage — caches the public review registry from hlido.eu for 24 hours, plus per-agent dismiss flags.
  • Hlido domain — fetches https://hlido.eu/data/review-registry.json at install and once per day after.
  • Current tab URL — the resolver looks at the URL only (window.location) to pick a slug. The extension does not read page DOM content.
