How an engagement runs
Scope
A short call about the business, the project and the decision you need to make. If we are not the right desk for it, we say so.
Assess
We look at your systems, data, team and suppliers. Findings in writing, with what they rest on.
Plan
A strategy and a delivery plan: options, costs to build and to run, milestones and risks.
Deliver or hand over
We build it with you through our implementation line, or hand the plan to your team or supplier.
Independence
Advice is only worth something if the adviser has nothing to sell you on the side. Three rules, the same on every engagement.
- No rated company pays for its rating.Hlido also runs an independent AI review desk. Its reviews, scores and re-tests are free and cannot be bought, sped up or removed. The practice is paid only by the organisation doing the work with us.
- Advisory work never changes a verdict.If a tool we have tested comes up in your project, you get the published evidence and our reading of it. A score does not move because someone is paying to hear it.
- Relationships are disclosed.Where we work with a company whose product is on the record, the record says so. See the conflict-of-interest policy.
Questions
- Do you only advise on AI projects?No. Hlido takes standalone technology projects with or without AI in them: systems, integrations, data and the plan behind them. AI is used where it earns its place.
- Can Hlido deliver the plan as well as write it?Yes. The same desk runs custom software development and AI implementation and support after go-live. The plan is written so that your own team or another supplier can also execute it.
- How is the work priced?Every engagement is scoped and quoted per engagement, in writing, before work starts. There is no charge for the first conversation.
- Where does Hlido work?Hlido is based in Prague and works in English with organisations across the Czech Republic and the EU. Most work is remote; on-site work in Prague and the Czech Republic is available.
